 Dear friends, In presence of the artists and authors, Florence Loewy and Joseph Kouli are glad to invite you to the presentation of the catalogue « Collection Joseph Kouli (29/10/06 15/02/13) », on Saturday the 25th of January from 7 p.m to 9.30 p.m at Florence Loewy's bookstore and exhibition place. This catalogue has been published after the eponymous exhibition presented at Mains d'Œuvres from 02/15 to 03/24/2013 getting together fifty five artworks bought by Joseph Kouli since his very first acquisition in October 2006 at FIAC until the opening of the exhibition at Mains d'Œuvres. The whole collection has been displayed by chronology of acquisition. This statement reveals the approach of the collector and has been adopted for the catalogue as well. Especially conceived by Aurélien Mole as an artist's book, the catalogue underlines the souvenir of the exhibition instead of the individual valorisation of the artworks and render their respective scale in the exhibition space, at the risk of distort their printed representation. The catalogue imparts a great role to the texts written by Marie Bechetoille and Annabel Rioux. The presentation will be the occasion for the collector to exhibit the artworks which have recently broaden his collection since the exhibition at Mains d'Œuvres. With works by Elvire Bonduelle, Benedict Broisat , Mimosa Echard , Jérémie Gindre , Ane Mette Hol , Clement Rodzielski , Ana Vega, Anna Virnich and Aurélien Mole for the catalogue. The book is available for sale , including 10 copies numbered and signed by Aurélien Mole.
